Creative Loop is pleased to announce a Special Glasgow 2014 call for proposals for the Best Pitch Competition which will be held as part of the Creative Loop Student Media Festival at the CCA in Glasgow on 19th-20th March 2014.

Jack Morton Worldwide (Producers of the Glasgow 2014 Opening and Closing Ceremonies) and Host Broadcasters, SVGTV, have provided the brief for a student produced 2-3 minute short film/ documentary/ animation titled ‘What Makes Glasgow Great.’

Winners of the Best Pitch would have their short film considered for a possible screening to an audience of 40,000 prior to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony.

• Selected entries will be pitched to a panel of judges at the Creative Loop Student Media Festival on 19th March 1:30pm-3:30pm
• The panel of judges will include a representative from Jack Morton Worldwide, Creative Scotland and SVGTV
• The top entries will be selected to develop their ideas, go into development and produce the 2-3 minute short film/ documentary/ animation
• The winners will be announced at the Creative Scotland Student Media Awards on Thursday 20th March 5:30pm-7:00pm at the CCA.

The deadline for proposals to be submitted is Wednesday 12th March 2014.
