One of Creative Loop’s primary goals is to introduce the media students of Scotland to industry professionals; in order to nurture new talent and maintain a fantastic network of likeminded souls no matter where they are on their career path.
The Creative Loop Student Media Festival is the best opportunity for students to meet their peers, but with so much packed into the two day gathering it’s often hard to make it to all the sessions that you might like to. You can recap on a number of the sessions from the previous years’ festivals here.
Don’t have all day? You can download and listen to interviews with some of the guest speakers here, where they summarise the key points from their sessions and give their personal advice for students who are trying to break into their sector of the industry.
This series looks at particular people and their specific jobs in the media industry. What exactly does a studio manager do? What makes a radio producer ‘senior’? This series gets down to the nitty gritty and should give all students an awareness of what each other are studying and insight into which career path to choose.
