More people listening to radio than ever before, Rajar figures show
The number of people tuning into the radio has reached an "all-time high" of 45.8 million listeners per week, more than 90 per cent of Britons aged 15 and over, according to Rajar. - 20 Mar 2009

Creative Loop
Creative Loop is a unique partnership among six Scottish colleges - Aberdeen, Adam Smith, Cardonald, Dundee, Perth and Reid Kerr - and key national partners, Scottish Screen, Skillset Scotland and SQA.
Creative Loop acts as the bridge between industry and education offering access to events and festivals and providing world class continuing professional development. The partnership is nurturing centres of excellence in broadcast media, television, radio, post-production, interactive and creative enterprise, and developing an online repository of shared learning resources.
Creative Loop works alongside the creative media industries in Scotland to improve the quality of training within colleges and improve the quality of graduates entering the industry. Our partners include BBC Scotland, Celtic Media Festival, and the Radio Academy.
Creative Loop is also a Skillset Media Academy and part of the Skillset Media Academy Network, a national footprint of colleges and universities that work with industry in developing the new wave of media talent.The network is made up of 20 Academies, drawing together creative education partnerships from 47 colleges and universities across the UK.Creative Loop is one of only three Skillset Media Academies in Scotland and the only UK academy that is wholly comprised of FE Colleges. The six partner colleges within Creative Loop- Aberdeen College, Adam Smith College, Cardonald College, Dundee College, Perth College and Reid Kerr College are all Creative Loop Skillset Media Academy Partners and all centres of excellence in television and interactive media.
